|Project Name:||Baghdad Governorate||Starting Date:||March, 2008|
|Project Location:||Baghdad||Finishing Date:||November, 2008|
In 2008, a project was started to repair the Baghdad governorate’s headquarters building. Work included the repair of seven second floor columns and the top roof slab of the 12 storey building. Damage was caused by explosions during the war of 2003. Engineers added steel sections, low viscosity epoxy, additional reinforcement, and casting concrete around the damaged columns.
The project team collaborated with the engineering consultancy bureau at the Iraqi Engineers Union in Baghdad.
